Does india needs to improve military defence budget.???

ONE OF THE IAF SOLIDERS HAVE BEEN KILLED AND 5 OTHERS ARE INJURED DURING TRANSPORTATION.

Total 6 soliders of indian air force were on the way to air force station was attacked by terrorist in the SURANKOTE area of JAMMU AND KASHMIR, POONCH . however the paramilitary forces have been conducting searches in Poonch since Friday but no one was arrested so far.

Noticable thing is the vehicle used during transport is of ASHOK LAYLAND STALLION(4×4).as shown in the following picture:

At least dozens of bullets fire on the vehicle ,now my question is , what if the vehicles widescreen was made up of bullet proof...??
But unfortunately it was not and we lost one IAF officer!!!
India needs to spend expenditure on modernising military equipments in a large quantity at least in a hotspot areas where chances of terror attack , war , invasion will be more.
Finance minister NIRMALA SITHARAMAN released indias defence budget. according to which india spends total $83.6 billion (6.21 lakh crore ). Among this 1.72 lakh crore ( 27.67% ) were given for capital acquisition,
Revenue expenditure 92,000crore ,
And for border infrastructure 6,500 crore.

According to my opinion india needs to increase defence budget at least till $100 billion .as china and Russia defeated us in GLOBAL MILITARY SPENDING RANKING.which is increasing year- on- year since 2009 . "This will leads to escalate world war  and deterioration of global peace and security" stated by DR.NAN TIAN director at SIPRI( stockholm international peace reasearch institute)working as  military expenditure researcher.

SIPRI relases report according to which global ranking of military expenditure :

1. USA -$916 B

2. CHINA - $296-300 B

3. RUSSIA - $ 109 B

4. INDIA -$83.6 B

By analysing this report is is clear that we need to enhance our defence budget to maintain our national security by using modernized equipments such as ACP(armoured personnel carrier), IFV etc . By replacing old ones.

LADAKH : INDIA'S FIRST GEOTHERMAL PLANT IN PUGA VALLEY

WHAT DOES ONGC STANDS FOR ???

OIL AND NATURAL GAS  CORPERATION

 AIM OF THIS PROJECT :

TO ESTABLISH EMISSION FREE ELECTRICITY IN LADAKH

INDIA PLANS TO DRILL TWO GEOTHERMAL WELLS  (DEPTH OF 1000 m , CAPACITY OF AT LEAST ONE MW)

In collaboration and consultants with iceland , ongc planning to drill the first well in the second or third week of june and next well by the end of september. and the contract has already awarded for the project.

REASONS FOR OPERATING THIS PROJECT IN  BETWEEN JUNE AND SEPTEMBER:

1. decrease in temperature , causes road to be fully covered by ice, due to which heavy equipments are not able carry via road.

2. lower oxygen level ,hence aeroplanes can't carry heavy equipments .

In August 2022 ONGC tried to drill but leads to flow of uncontrolled water with high volume, but this time they have advanced equipments and machineries e.g blow-out preventor. location of this project is at the meeting point of two continental plates which is 150 m wide and 3000 km long , have hundreds of geothermal feilds. water with temperature 220 degree expected at puga. steam could be used to produce electricity which supply the needs of nearby tibetian pastoralist communities .

PROS :

1. zero carbon source.

2. renewable energy.

3.sustainable .

4. reliable.

5. naturally occuring , no fuel requirement.

CONS:

1.Risk of natural calmaties such as earthquakes.

2.dangerous chemicals .

3. E waste.

4.risk to migratory birds as well as rare bird species.
